Senior Nursing Leadership Role Supporting Housing First Services
  
Director of Nursing (Community) opportunity to join a specialist Housing First Health Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) supporting individuals affected by homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges and complex health needs across Dublin.
  
Working within the innovative Housing First model, this role offers the opportunity to provide strategic, clinical and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary healthcare team delivering wrap-around health supports within community settings.
  
This is a senior nursing leadership role focused on clinical governance, service development, team leadership and person-centred care, helping support some of the most vulnerable individuals within our communities.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide strategic, clinical and operational leadership to the Housing First Health MDT
  • Lead and support multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
  • Ensure high standards of clinical governance and quality assurance
  • Support service planning, development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promote person-centred, trauma-informed and recovery-focused practice
  • Oversee service delivery across outreach, in-reach and community settings
  • Support workforce development, supervision and performance management
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers and key stakeholders
  • Contribute to organisational strategy and quality improvement objectives

What You’ll Need

  • Registered Nurse qualification with active NMBI registration
  • Significant nursing leadership and management experience
  • Strong clinical governance and quality management experience
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commitment to person-centred, trauma-informed and recovery-focused practice
  • Experience working within homelessness, addiction, social inclusion or community services desirable
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland

This role forms part of a specialist Housing First Health Multidisciplinary Team, supporting individuals affected by homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges and complex health needs through integrated, community-based healthcare services.
  
Working within a trauma-informed and recovery-focused model, the team provides person-centred support designed to improve health outcomes, promote stability and help individuals access the services they need to build healthier and more independent lives.
