Are you an experienced Community Mental Health Nurse, Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) or Mental Health Staff Nurse looking to build a rewarding career within community healthcare?
  
3Q Recruitment is recruiting for a Community Mental Health Nurse to join a specialist multidisciplinary team supporting individuals affected by homelessness, mental health challenges and substance use across Dublin.
  
Working within a low-threshold, harm-reduction focused service, you’ll deliver person-centred nursing care through outreach, in-reach and community clinic settings, helping individuals access the support they need while promoting recovery, independence and wellbeing.
  
Whether you currently work as a Community Mental Health Nurse, Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Psychiatric Nurse, Staff Nurse or Community Nurse, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference within an experienced multidisciplinary team.

What You’ll Do
  
As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you’ll provide compassionate, person-centred nursing care to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges and substance use issues.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will:

  • Deliver mental health assessments and nursing interventions.
  • Provide outreach, in-reach and community clinic nursing support.
  • Build therapeutic relationships that promote recovery and engagement.
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans.
  • Promote harm reduction, recovery and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
  • Participate in risk assessment, safeguarding and clinical governance.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and external agencies.
  • Support individuals to access appropriate healthcare and community services.

  
What You’ll NeedEssential Requirements

  • Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) qualification with current NMBI registration.
  • Minimum two years’ post-registration nursing experience.
  • Experience working within Mental Health, Community Healthcare, Homeless Services or Addiction Services.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Full eligibility to work in Ireland.

Desirable

  • Community Mental Health Nursing experience.
  • Experience supporting individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Knowledge of harm reduction approaches.
  • Experience within Addiction Services or dual diagnosis settings.
