3Q Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) to join a well-established Adult Disability Service in Sligo.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse leader looking to further their career within Disability Services while leading a dedicated nursing team committed to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

As Clinical Nurse Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day clinical operations, mentor and develop nursing staff, promote continuous quality improvement and help adults with physical, sensory and neurological disabilities live as independently as possible.

The Opportunity

As Clinical Nurse Manager 1, you’ll provide clinical leadership while ensuring the highest standards of nursing care are delivered across the service.

Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you’ll support clinical excellence, staff development, regulatory compliance and continuous service improvement while promoting dignity, independence, inclusion and positive outcomes for the people supported.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support the nursing team to deliver high-quality person-centred care.
• Manage day-to-day clinical operations within the service.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA Standards, legislation, organisational policies and best practice.
• Lead clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives and risk management processes.
• Support medication management and clinical decision-making.
• Supervise, mentor and develop nursing staff.
• Coordinate care planning with multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote dignity, independence and inclusion for service users.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and governance documentation.
• Foster a positive, supportive and collaborative working culture.

What You’ll Need

Essential Requirements

• Active NMBI registration as an RNID, RGN or RPN.
• Minimum three years’ post-registration nursing experience.
• Current experience operating at CNM1 level or significant senior nursing leadership experience.
• Previous line management or supervisory experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of HIQA Standards, clinical governance and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience supporting staff development and performance management.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel where required.
• Good standard of written and spoken English.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
