3Q Recruitment is recruiting for two Social Care Workers to join a specialist Residential and Respite Service in Stillorgan, Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for Social Care professionals who are passionate about supporting people with autism to live independently, develop new skills and actively participate in their communities.
The Role
As a Social Care Worker, you will support individuals through person-centred services designed to promote independence, choice, inclusion and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Support people with autism in line with individual support plans and personal outcomes.
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care where required.
- Promote independence, choice and community participation.
- Support individuals to develop life skills and achieve personal goals.
- Implement and contribute to support plans and Person-Centred Plans (PCPs).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Promote a safe, respectful and supportive environment.
RequirementsEssential Qualifications
- QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care, Applied Social Care Studies, Applied Social Care Practice or equivalent CORU-approved qualification.
- CORU Registration as a Social Care Worker or proof of application in progress.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 6 months’ recent experience supporting individuals with complex support needs.
- Strong understanding of person-centred services.
- Knowledge of current Social Care legislation and regulations.
- Experience implementing support plans and PCPs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full clean manual driving licence essential.
