Care Support Worker | Intellectual Disability Services | Blackrock, Dublin

Location: Blackrock, Dublin
Salary: €38,000 – €52,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Fixed-term with potential for permanency

This Care Support Worker role in Blackrock is based within a well-established intellectual disability service where consistency, quality, and professional standards are central to daily practice.

You’ll support individuals with intellectual disabilities in a setting that prioritises structured care, clear processes, and a high standard of person-centred support.

The role suits someone who is reliable, detail-focused, and confident working within a well-managed environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in daily routines and activities
Delivering consistent, person-centred support in line with care plans
Assisting with independence and personal development
Encouraging participation in structured activities and routines
Promoting dignity, respect, and individual choice
Working within established HIQA standards and procedures
Collaborating with Social Care Workers and multidisciplinary teams

What You’ll Bring

Relevant qualification (Social Care, Healthcare, or related discipline preferred)
Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or in similar settings
A structured, reliable, and professional approach
Strong understanding of safeguarding and care standards
Manual Handling & First Aid (or willingness to complete training)
