Are you an experienced Social Care professional ready to take the next step into leadership?
  
Looking for a Senior Supervisor to join a specialist Day Service in Tallaght, Dublin. This permanent opportunity is ideal for an experienced Social Care professional who is passionate about supporting people with autism while leading and developing high-performing teams.
  
This role combines direct service delivery with team leadership, ensuring high-quality, person-centred supports that promote independence, inclusion and quality of life.
  
The Role
  
As Senior Supervisor, you will provide leadership, guidance and support to frontline teams while ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred services.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support staff teams to deliver high-quality person-centred services.
• Promote independence, choice, inclusion and community participation.
• Supervise, mentor and support team members in their daily responsibilities.
• Coordinate and manage staff rotas and workforce planning.
• Lead and participate in team meetings and service reviews.
• Support the implementation of Person-Centred Plans (PCPs) and individual support plans.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and organisational policies.
• Maintain accurate records, reporting and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote a positive, supportive and inclusive service culture.

Requirements
  
Essential Qualifications

• Degree in Social Care, Social Care Studies, Social Work, Psychology or a relevant Level 8 qualification.
• Qualifications obtained outside Ireland must be recognised as equivalent through NARIC.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year’s recent experience working as a Social Care Worker supporting people with complex support needs.
• Previous experience supervising or managing a team.
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing staff rotas and workforce planning.
• Experience leading and chairing meetings.
• Strong understanding of person-centred support and best practice.
• Knowledge of current Social Care legislation and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a leadership team.
• Full clean manual driving licence essential.
