We are recruiting a Healthcare Assistant / Care Support Worker to join a dedicated healthcare team supporting adults with disabilities to live independently and enjoy a high quality of life.

About the Role
  
As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll provide high-quality, person-centred care while supporting individuals with their daily living activities, personal care, community participation and independence.
  
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you’ll help create a safe, respectful and supportive environment where every individual is encouraged to reach their full potential.
  
This is a full-time permanent role working across a 24/7 roster.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Support daily living activities and personal care.
• Promote independence, dignity and choice.
• Assist individuals in accessing community activities.
• Maintain accurate care records.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and organisational policies.

  
Requirements
To be successful you should have:

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (or equivalent healthcare qualification).
• OR QQI Level 6 Social Care or Nursing qualification.
• Experience supporting adults with disabilities is desirable.
• Full manual driving licence (or currently working towards obtaining one).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• A positive, compassionate and professional approach to care.

Candidates with relevant care experience who are willing to complete QQI Level 5 may also be considered.
