This is a strategic leadership opportunity for someone who can influence at executive level, drive supplier performance, champion continuous improvement and ensure healthcare environments consistently reflect the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and professionalism.
Working across multiple sites, you will play a key role in shaping the experience of patients, visitors and staff while supporting operational excellence across the organisation.

The Opportunity
As Group Head of Housekeeping, you will provide strategic leadership across housekeeping and environmental services, ensuring consistency, quality and accountability across all locations.
You will work closely with senior operational leaders, facilities teams and outsourced service providers to drive high standards, improve performance and support organisational goals.
This is not a purely operational role. It requires someone who can balance leadership, stakeholder engagement, commercial awareness and continuous improvement while maintaining a strong focus on quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a group-wide housekeeping and environmental services strategy.
- Establish and maintain consistent standards across all sites.
- Lead supplier relationships, governance and performance management.
- Drive service improvements, innovation and operational excellence initiatives.
- Oversee audits, inspections and quality assurance programmes.
- Support compliance with healthcare, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor performance trends and implement improvement plans where required.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align services with organisational priorities.
- Promote a culture of accountability, responsiveness and continuous improvement.

Within healthcare, hospitality, aviation, life sciences or another highly regulated environment.
You will be recognised for your ability to raise standards, influence stakeholders and deliver measurable improvements through strong leadership and effective supplier management.
Essential Requirements
- Significant senior management experience within housekeeping, environmental services, facilities management or outsourced service delivery.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers through KPI and SLA frameworks.
- Strong commercial and contract management experience.
- Proven ability to improve service quality and operational standards across multiple locations.
- Experience working within healthcare or another highly regulated environment is desirable.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, auditing and service governance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
