Care Support Worker | Intellectual Disability Services | Blackrock, Dublin
  
Location: Blackrock, Dublin
Salary: €38,000 – €52,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Fixed-term with potential for permanency

This Care Support Worker role in Blackrock is based within a well-established intellectual disability service where consistency, quality, and professional standards are central to daily practice.
  
You’ll support individuals with intellectual disabilities in a setting that prioritises structured care, clear processes, and a high standard of person-centred support.
  
The role suits someone who is reliable, detail-focused, and confident working within a well-managed environment.
  
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in daily routines and activities
  • Delivering consistent, person-centred support in line with care plans
  • Assisting with independence and personal development
  • Encouraging participation in structured activities and routines
  • Promoting dignity, respect, and individual choice
  • Working within established HIQA standards and procedures
  • Collaborating with Social Care Workers and multidisciplinary teams

  
What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant qualification (Social Care, Healthcare, or related discipline preferred)
  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or in similar settings
  • A structured, reliable, and professional approach
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and care standards
  • Manual Handling & First Aid (or willingness to complete training)
