Location: Nenagh, Co. Tipperary
Salary: €38,000 – €52,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Fixed-term with potential for permanency

This Social Care Worker role is based in a structured intellectual disability service where the focus is on supporting individuals to live as independently and confidently as possible.
You’ll be working in a setting that values consistency, respect, and person-centred practice, where support goes beyond routine tasks and is built around meaningful engagement and long-term development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering person-centred support tailored to individual needs
- Promoting independence, life skills, and community involvement
- Supporting individuals in day-to-day activities and development
- Advocating for choice, dignity, and autonomy
- Working within HIQA standards and established care frameworks
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external services
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Social Care (Level 7 or 8)
- CORU registration or eligibility
- Experience in disability services or similar care settings
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional practice
- Manual Handling & First Aid (or willingness to update)
