3Q Recruitment is recruiting for a Communication Therapist to join a specialist Adult Disability Service supporting adults across Leinster.
  
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced CORU Registered Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) who is passionate about improving communication, promoting independence and delivering high-quality, person-centred supports.
  
Whether you identify as a Communication Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Speech Therapist or SLT, you’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting adults with a range of communication needs to maximise independence, participation and quality of life.
  
Based in Leinster, the successful candidate will travel across services throughout the region.
  
The Role
  
As a Communication Therapist (Speech and Language Therapist), you’ll play a key role in assessing communication needs, delivering Speech and Language Therapy interventions and developing person-centred communication support plans that empower individuals to achieve their goals.
  
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families and support staff, you’ll help individuals maximise communication, participation, independence and overall wellbeing.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Speech and Language Therapy assessments and interventions.
  • Undertake communication and competency assessments.
  • Develop and implement person-centred communication support plans.
  • Support individuals to maximise communication, participation and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families and support staff.
  • Provide guidance and communication strategies to frontline teams.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
  • Deliver services in line with CORU standards, legislation and best practice.
  • Promote continuous improvement and high-quality clinical outcomes.

  
Essential Qualifications

  • Recognised Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Current CORU Registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Minimum two years’ post-graduate experience.

  
Desirable

  • Membership of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT).
  • Experience working within Adult Disability Services.
  • Strong understanding of person-centred practice.

  
Experience & Skills

  • Excellent communication, assessment and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to manage your own caseload.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and professional standards.
  • Full clean Irish driving licence with access to a vehicle and appropriate business insurance.
