The Role
  
As a Senior Social Care Supervisor, you’ll provide leadership, guidance and day-to-day support to frontline teams while ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred supports for autistic adults attending day services.
  
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, families and colleagues, you’ll promote independence, community inclusion, choice and positive outcomes while creating an environment where the people you support can learn, develop and thrive.
  
What You’ll Do

  • Lead, supervise and support frontline Social Care teams.
  • Mentor, coach and develop staff through positive leadership.
  • Coordinate staff rotas and workforce planning.
  • Support Person-Centred Plans (PCPs) and individual support plans.
  • Promote independence, community participation and individual choice.
  • Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care where required.
  • Support individuals to develop new life skills and achieve personal goals.
  • Ensure services operate in line with legislation, organisational policies and best practice.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting.
  • Lead team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and person-centred culture.

  
What You’ll Need Essential Qualifications

  • Level 8 Degree in Social Care, Social Work, Psychology or an equivalent qualification recognised through NARIC where applicable.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum one year’s recent Social Care experience supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Experience managing staff rotas and workforce planning.
  • Strong understanding of Autism and person-centred practice.
  • Knowledge of current Social Care legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a leadership team.
  • Experience leading or chairing meetings.
  • Full clean manual driving licence with the ability to drive service vehicles.
  • Good standard of written and spoken English.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.
