What You’ll Be Leading As Person in Charge, you’ll oversee the day-to-day delivery and quality of a residential disability service, supporting both the people using the service and the team delivering their care.
You’ll:
- Lead and support a dedicated care team
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred service delivery
- Maintain compliance with HIQA Standards and relevant regulations
- Oversee individual care plans, assessments and documentation
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and service audits
- Support staff training, development and performance
- Promote independence, dignity, inclusion and wellbeing
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment
- Participate in the On-Call support system
What You’ll Need
- Relevant Level 7 degree in Social Care or Health Care
- Level 6 Management qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ management or supervisory experience in health or social care
- Proven experience managing a residential service within regulatory requirements
- Experience supporting people with autism is desirable
- Strong understanding of quality and compliance within disability services
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Eligibility to live and work in Ireland without restriction
