3Q Recruitment is recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2) – Mental Health for a specialist mental health service in Dublin 16.
This permanent CNM2 job in Dublin offers experienced psychiatric nurses the opportunity to move further into nursing leadership, lead a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants and play an active role within a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.
You’ll combine clinical leadership, psychiatric nursing and people management, while helping shape the quality and development of mental health services.

What You’ll Be Doing As Clinical Nurse Manager 2, you’ll take an active leadership role within the nursing service while maintaining a strong connection to clinical care.
You’ll:
- Lead and support nursing and healthcare assistant teams.
- Maintain high standards of mental health nursing care.
- Support service planning and operational development.
- Lead quality improvement and change initiatives.
- Support clinical governance and risk management.
- Maintain compliance with Mental Health Commission requirements.
- Work closely with patients, families and multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Support staff development, education and professional practice.
- Contribute to workforce planning and nursing management.
- Promote recovery-focused, person-centred mental healthcare.

This opportunity could particularly suit an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager 1 who has built strong psychiatric nursing and people-management experience and is now ready to progress into a CNM2 Mental Health role.
To apply, you’ll need:
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) registration with NMBI, or eligibility to register.
- Minimum 5 years’ post-registration nursing experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager 1.
- Experience within a healthcare or hospital setting, including acute mental health care.
- Strong clinical leadership and people-management experience.
- Knowledge of Mental Health Commission requirements.
- Understanding of clinical governance and quality standards.
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary working skills.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
Palliative care experience is desirable.
