Key Responsibilities: As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering outstanding food services. Your main tasks will include:

• Preparing and serving meals and beverages to meet individual dietary requirements.
• Delivering meals to patient wards and assisting when necessary to ensure comfort.
• Following HACCP procedures and infection control policies.
• Monitoring and organising food supplies while minimising waste through stock rotation.
• Supporting kitchen staff with preparation tasks to optimise meal delivery.
• Maintaining cleanliness in food preparation areas, utensils, and equipment to comply with health and safety standards.
• Helping with waste management and recycling according to healthcare protocols.

Qualifications We’re Looking For: We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals who thrive in healthcare or catering environments. The ideal candidate should have:

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in catering, particularly in healthcare or high-volume settings.
• Legal eligibility to work in Ireland and successful Garda Vetting clearance.
• 5 years’ worth of relevant work references.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A strong focus on infection control and hygiene.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
• A full driver’s licence is desirable for easy accessibility to the location.
