To be eligible for ‘Employee of the Month’, a candidate must have worked with 3Q Recruitment for a minimum of six months. Those who haven’t yet reached this milestone can still be acknowledged with a ‘Positive Review’, which will be kept on file until they qualify. This ensures we don’t miss out on recognising rising stars who consistently demonstrate potential and professionalism.
Each month, we shine a spotlight on Temporary Employees who have gone above and beyond in their assignments across various client contracts. These individuals consistently represent 3Q Recruitment with excellence, and their contributions do not go unnoticed. At the end of the year, the 12 monthly winners are reviewed, and one outstanding Temporary employee is selected for the Henry Murphy Memorial Employee of the Year Award, an honour that reflects the values Henry stood for: care, commitment, and always going the extra mile.
The selection for Employee of the Month is based on two main criteria: Attitude Standards and Quality of Work Standards. Other considerations include availability, flexibility, attendance, engagement with consultants and fellow temps, and overall performance in the previous month’s assignments.
When nominating someone based on Attitude Standards, we look for those who embody a true ‘Can Do – Will Do – Does’ mindset. These Temps are enthusiastic about their roles, integrate seamlessly into teams, and respond positively when called upon by supervisors, managers, or colleagues. They show initiative, reliability, and a drive to complete tasks to a high standard.
We also value Respect, not just agreeing with others, but appreciating different viewpoints and treating people with courtesy and professionalism. Fellowship plays a big part in our culture too. Temps who foster a positive, welcoming work environment contribute hugely to team morale and cohesion.
A strong sense of Identity is another key trait. Temporary employees who take pride in their work, align with our values, and serve as ambassadors for 3Q Recruitment are always noticed. Equality rounds out this section, those who treat colleagues fairly, avoid favouritism, and uphold workplace integrity help build inclusive, trustworthy environments.
In terms of Quality of Work Standards, we focus first on Work Commitment. The best Temporary employee are those who consistently give their best effort, not because they’re told to, but because they take pride in doing the job right. They go the extra mile, help others, and maintain a positive outlook even on challenging days.
Finally, we evaluate Personal Performance, which reflects not only what a Temporary employee achieves but also how they go about it. Their attention to detail, consistency, and the regard in which they are held by peers all speak volumes.
Together, these criteria help us celebrate Temporary Employee who truly make a difference, month after month, and honour one exceptional individual each year with the Henry Murphy Memorial Employee of the Year Award.
