Our Commitment to Sustainability in Recruitment
At 3Q Recruitment, sustainability isn’t a box-ticking exercise, it’s a core part of how we recruit, operate, and support our clients. We don’t just fill shifts; we build a future-focused, people-first service model that reduces our carbon footprint, uplifts communities, and holds ourselves accountable every step of the way.
We place temps not just based on skills, but on sustainable proximity, reducing private transport and emissions by prioritising public transport links. In 2024, over half of our Dublin temps were assigned to single-leg bus or tram routes, and we’re on track to reach 60% by 2026.
Internally, we run a fully digital, paperless system. Contracts, timesheets, payroll, and invoicing are all processed electronically, cutting our paper use by 67% since 2021. But we go beyond compliance: from planting over 100 trees a year to offset historic printing, to diverting 100% of our decommissioned IT equipment from landfill through charity reuse schemes.
Sustainability is woven into onboarding, monthly campaigns, and everyday decisions, from LED lighting to cycle-to-work incentives. CSR is equally embedded. In 2024, our Spare-an-Hour campaign raised in the past couple of years, €14,600 for healthcare-linked charities, and our festive giving drives supported vulnerable patients. We also audit suppliers for ethical and environmental standards and voluntarily undergo annual financial audits.
Our practices align with our clients Green Charter, and we’ll soon launch our first carbon impact report to track our progress. Whether it’s social impact, environmental action, or ethical governance, we’re proud to show that recruitment, done right, can be a force for good.
