3Q Recruitment is recruiting Kitchen Porters to support a busy healthcare catering kitchen in Dublin 8, helping to deliver clean, safe and efficient food services for patients, staff and visitors.
  
The facility is easily accessible via the Luas and multiple Dublin Bus routes, making this role suitable for candidates commuting from across Dublin City and surrounding areas.
  
This is a hands-on kitchen support role, ideal for candidates with experience in kitchen porter, catering assistant or food service positions who are seeking daytime hours and ongoing work within a structured healthcare environment.
  
The Role
  
As a Kitchen Porter in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in keeping kitchen operations running smoothly and safely. You will work closely with chefs and catering teams to maintain hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
  
This role offers routine, teamwork and no late nights or split shifts.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment and work surfaces
• Wash dishes, cookware and catering service equipment
• Assist with basic food preparation such as peeling, chopping and portioning
• Support ward pantry, trolley and beverage station set-up and restocking
• Record temperatures and assist with HACCP food safety checks
• Follow infection control and hygiene procedures at all times
• Support chefs and catering assistants during service periods

  
Requirements

• 6–12 months’ experience as a Kitchen Porter, Catering Assistant or similar role
• Previous hospital or healthcare kitchen experience is an advantage
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and HACCP
• Legal right to work in Ireland
• Ability to provide five years of verifiable work references
• Reliable, flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen
• Garda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles.
• International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16

• Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays
