Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) | Day Service | Dublin North West
We are seeking a committed Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) to join a Day Service in Dublin North West. This is a Permanent, Part-Time (35 hours per week), Salary €57,208 – €67,372 (pro-rata, based on experience).
This is a key role supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in a community-based, person-centred environment.
About the Client
Our client is a person-centred, rights-based organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. They deliver a wide range of services, including day, residential, and respite supports.
The Role
As CNM1, you will:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight within the day service setting.
- Deliver person-centred support to individuals across all areas of daily living.
- Work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate and coordinate with external professionals, including GPs, Public Health Nurses, hospitals, and relevant agencies.
- Promote evidence-based best practice and uphold high standards of care aligned with organisational values.
- Support the development and delivery of a socially inclusive, community-based service model.
Essential Criteria
- Registered with NMBI in the RNID division.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience at staff nurse level in intellectual disability services.
- Strong clinical, communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage individual cases and use own initiative.
- Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy and diabetes desirable.
- Experience in community day or residential services.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
