We are recruiting Social Care Workers to join residential intellectual disability services in Dublin North West. This is a well-supported environment offering strong work-life balance, career progression, and on-site parking.

Salary: €40,851 – €57,217 (pro-rata, based on relevant public sector experience)

Hours:

• Full-time: 39 hours per week
• Part-time: 19.5 hours per week

The Role
As a Social Care Worker, you will support individuals in a residential setting using a person-centred, rights-based approach that promotes independence, dignity, and inclusion;

• Deliver person-centred support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Promote independence, life skills, and community participation.
• Support social, educational, and personal development.
• Facilitate meaningful daily and community-based activities.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
• Assist with personal care and medication management where required.
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and best practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.

Essential Criteria

• Level 7 or higher in a CORU-recognised Social Care qualification.
• Vaild CORU registration or proof of application
• Full driving licence (driving service vehicles is required).
• Experience working in intellectual disability environment.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards, the Health Act 2007, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to support individuals to develop skills and pursue their interests.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
