Catering Assistant – Dublin 6 – Permanent Role

We are currently recruiting a Permanent Catering Assistant in Dublin 6 to join a busy canteen and dining area. This is a hands-on role in a structured, friendly environment, supporting daily food service for staff and visitors.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys routine, teamwork, and daytime hours, with a strong focus on cleanliness, food safety, and customer care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals and beverages in the canteen and dining area
• Assist with food service during breakfast and lunchtime periods
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, dining areas, equipment, and utensils
• Follow HACCP food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
• Restock food items and ensure correct food rotation
• Support the catering team to ensure smooth and efficient service

Requirements:

• 6–12 months’ catering or kitchen experience (experience is an advantage)
• Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards
• Legal right to work in Ireland
• Garda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles.
• International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16
• Ability to provide 5 years of work references
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
