Catering Assistant – Dublin 1 | Dublin City Centre Healthcare Facility

3Q Recruitment is hiring Healthcare Catering Assistants to work in a busy hospital setting in Dublin 1. This is a hands-on role supporting patient care through food preparation, delivery and service.

Location: Dublin 1
Pay: €17.53 per hour
Shifts: Daytime only

Working Hours

• Flexible roster – 5 days over 7
• Day shifts: 8:30am – 5:30pm
• Ward-based work and meal delivery included

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve meals and drinks
• Deliver meals to wards and assist patients
• Keep kitchens and ward pantries clean and stocked
• Follow HACCP, food safety and infection control
• Work closely with catering and ward teams

What You’ll Need

• 6–12 months’ experience as a Catering Assistant or Kitchen Porter
• Basic food hygiene / HACCP knowledge
• Right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting
• 5 years’ work references
• Reliable, flexible and team-focused

Pay & Benefits

• €17.53 per hour
• Double pay Sundays & Bank Holidays
• Full-time, daytime hours only

• 24/7 on-call support
• Central Dublin 1 location, public transport friendly via Train (DART), Bus and Tram (Luas)
