This Care Assistant role focuses on creating a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for vulnerable adults within a structured residential setting operated by a respected non-profit organisation.

You will support residents in their day-to-day routines while helping promote dignity, wellbeing, inclusion and a sense of stability within a supportive and resident-focused environment.

The role combines practical support, resident engagement and maintaining high standards across the service while working closely within a team-focused setting.

What You’ll Do:

• Support residents within a safe and respectful residential environment
• Assist residents with daily routines and wellbeing support
• Promote dignity, empathy and person-centred support
• Support residents during admissions, room moves and transitions
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across communal areas
• Complete scheduled safety checks and record keeping
• Provide guidance and practical support where needed
• Work closely within a supportive resident-focused team

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults within care, community or residential settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries
• Good written and computer skills
• Flexibility to work day, night, weekend and public holiday shifts
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or Social Care qualification
• First Aid, Fire Safety or HACCP training
• Knowledge of addiction support and recovery approaches
• Experience with incident reporting and client record systems

• Garda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles
• International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16
