Every Christmas, we run our “Socks, Chocs & a Surprise” campaign, supporting homeless services across Dublin including Merchants Quay Ireland and Mustard Seed Soup Run
The campaign is a simple but meaningful way for our team to give back to the community during the festive season. Each year we gather essential items, small gifts and treats, which are carefully wrapped to create Christmas presents for people experiencing homelessness.
These gifts are delivered to our partner organisations, whose teams distribute them on Christmas morning in hostels and outreach services across the city. Many of the presents are also shared with rough sleepers, ensuring that people who may otherwise have nothing to open on Christmas Day still experience a small moment of warmth and kindness during the holiday season.
Items typically include warm essentials such as socks, alongside chocolate treats and small surprises, bringing a little comfort and festive cheer to those facing particularly difficult circumstances.
While the gifts themselves are simple, the intention behind the campaign is powerful. It is about recognising the dignity of every person and ensuring that even during challenging times, people know they are not forgotten.
