Social Care Worker – North Dublin
3Q Recruitment is hiring a Social Care Worker to support individuals and families affected by substance misuse, mental health challenges, and complex needs in a community-based service in North Dublin.
This front-line role focuses on recovery, wellbeing and resilience, working across community, residential, respite and day services within a structured and supportive environment.
The Role
You will provide person-centred care to service users, offering practical and emotional support while maintaining high standards of safeguarding, professional practice and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred support to individuals and families.
- Assist with daily living, wellbeing and recovery activities.
- Develop and review individual support plans.
- Liaise with community services, GPs, Tusla, schools and other agencies
- Maintain accurate, confidential case records.
- Follow Children First and safeguarding procedures.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
Requirements
- Level 7 qualification (Social Care, Counselling, Psychology or related)
- Experience in community, residential or social care settings
- Strong communication skills, empathy and practical problem-solving
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection requirements
- Ability to work within a structured, compliance-driven environment
- Legal right to work in Ireland
- Garda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles
- International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16
- Driving licence and access to transport desirable
