We are recruiting an experienced Hospital Chef to join a busy healthcare facility in Dublin 7, delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that directly support patient care and wellbeing.

This is a healthcare chef role with full-time hours suited to chefs with experience in hospital kitchens, healthcare catering or large-scale food service environments who value structure, consistency and meaningful work.

Your Role:

Prepare and present nutritious meals aligned with patient dietary requirements
Support smooth daily kitchen operations with strong standards of quality and consistency
Work across key production areas including hot food, prep, plating and service
Guide and support kitchen colleagues to maintain efficient workflow and teamwork
Follow HACCP, cook-chill, food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
Manage stock rotation, food storage, labelling and waste control
Collaborate with dietitians and healthcare teams on menu planning and meal adaptations
Maintain a clean, safe and fully compliant healthcare kitchen environment

What We’re Looking For:

QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional chef qualification
Experience in hospital chef roles, healthcare catering or high-volume kitchens
Strong knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene and cook-chill processes
Legal right to work in Ireland
Ability to provide 5 years of verifiable work references
Excellent organisation, communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work across a Monday–Sunday roster
Garda Vetting is mandatory for relevant roles.
International Police Clearance is required where a candidate has lived or worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since the age of 16

What We Offer:

€20.50 per hour
Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays
Full-time daytime hours, typically 7:00am–6:00pm
No late-night or overnight shifts
