Important: Due to the location of the service, access by public transport is not available. A car and the ability to travel independently are essential for this role.
Your Day-to-Day Role
- Support personal care and daily living routines
- Encourage independence and social participation
- Build trusted and respectful relationships with service users
- Support individuals in line with person-centred care plans
- Promote dignity, inclusion and wellbeing
- Work closely within a supportive multidisciplinary team
What You’ll Need
- QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (or equivalent)
- OR QQI Level 6 Social Care / Nursing qualification
- Experience supporting people with disabilities or within care settings
- Full Manual Driving Licence or willingness to work towards it
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work across a rostered 24/7 service
- Good standard of spoken and written English
Candidates with relevant experience who are willing to complete QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support within 18 months may also be considered.
