Important: Due to the location of the service, access by public transport is not available. A car and the ability to travel independently are essential for this role.
  
Your Day-to-Day Role
  

  • Support personal care and daily living routines
  • Encourage independence and social participation
  • Build trusted and respectful relationships with service users
  • Support individuals in line with person-centred care plans
  • Promote dignity, inclusion and wellbeing
  • Work closely within a supportive multidisciplinary team

  
What You’ll Need
  

  • QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (or equivalent)
  • OR QQI Level 6 Social Care / Nursing qualification
  • Experience supporting people with disabilities or within care settings
  • Full Manual Driving Licence or willingness to work towards it
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work across a rostered 24/7 service
  • Good standard of spoken and written English

  
Candidates with relevant experience who are willing to complete QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support within 18 months may also be considered.
