Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic and imaging examinations as needed.
• Adhering to radiation protection principles (justification, optimization, dose limits).
• Participating in on-call services as needed.
• Staying updated on radiographic techniques, undergoing in-service training, and engaging in professional development.
• Maintaining high standards of radiography.
• Supporting research projects and training junior staff.
• Performing other tasks as directed by the Radiology Services Manager or Clinical Specialist.
• Conducting daily equipment inspections and quality assurance.
• Reporting defects and safety issues to the Radiology Manager or Clinical Specialist.

  
Qualifications/Requirements:

• CORU Registered.
• Diploma of the College of Radiographers or have a Bachelor of Science or its equivalent.
• Experience working within a team of Radiographers.
• Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a multitude of examinations.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Evidence of personal professional development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility in role and take on additional duties as required.
