Kitchen Porter Jobs Dublin 3 | Healthcare Catering Kitchen

We are recruiting a Kitchen Porter to support a busy healthcare catering kitchen in Dublin 3, ensuring safe, hygienic and efficient food service for patients and staff.

The site is easily accessible via Clontarf Road and Killester DART stations, as well as multiple Dublin Bus routes.

This role suits candidates with experience in high-volume kitchens who are seeking daytime healthcare work with reliable hours.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness across kitchen areas, equipment and utensils
Wash dishes, cookware and service equipment
Assist with basic food preparation (peeling, chopping, portioning)
Support ward pantry and beverage station stocking
Assist with HACCP compliance and temperature records
Follow infection control and hygiene standards
Support chefs and catering assistants during service

Requirements

6–12 months’ experience as a Kitchen Porter or Catering Assistant
Healthcare or hospital kitchen experience an advantage
Basic understanding of HACCP and food safety
Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting
5 years of verifiable references
Reliable, flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Salary & Benefits

€17.53 per hour
Double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays
Daytime shifts only (no late nights)
DART and Dublin Bus access
