Join our energetic team as a Kitchen Porter, where your role is crucial in maintaining smooth and efficient food service operations within healthcare facilities in South County Dublin. We are seeking full-time flexible individuals for this role, as working hours vary based on client needs from Monday to Friday with some weekend availability. Shift patterns are between 7am and 6pm. This position provides a fulfilling opportunity to contribute directly to patient care while collaborating with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils, adhering strictly to health and safety standards.
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks and efficient meal service.
• Support the team by organizing and maintaining kitchen storage areas.
• Assisting the Chefs with any food preparation tasks.
• Adhere strictly to HACCP guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling procedures are followed to maintain a tidy work environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to facilitate smooth kitchen operations and timely food delivery.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Legal right to work in Ireland and successful completion of Garda Vetting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Provide references outlying 5 years of working experience.
• High standards of cleanliness and a commitment to maintaining hygiene.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
