We are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager for a well-regarded Nursing Home in Galway, specializing in residential and specialized respite care. In this CNM position, your main responsibility will be to offer leadership to your team, ensuring the provision of the highest standards of nursing and social care personalized to meet the distinct needs of each resident. This is a full-time position, and the salary will depend on experience (DOE).

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistent adherence to home policies and clinical standards.
• Collaborate with diverse staff members to identify and address potential concerns, reporting to the Director of Nursing.
• Review and manage residents with pressure sores, falls, and clinical issues, ensuring appropriate care plans.
• Troubleshoot clinical and non-clinical issues, escalating when necessary.
• Assess and address training needs, conduct in-house training, and review recent admissions for proper care planning.
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene standards, and facilitate effective communication among staff.
• Manage daily activities, including roster checks, handovers, and resident progress reviews.

We’re Seeking:

• Valid NMBI Registration.
• BSc in General Nursing or equivalent.
• Working experience in managerial role (desirable) 
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
