Cleaning Supervisor

Hours: Part-time, 19.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage cleaning schedules to meet operational needs and ensure proper coverage during busy periods.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain compliance with cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Address any immediate cleaning issues, such as spillages or equipment malfunctions, to ensure smooth operations.
• Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
• Train and mentor new cleaning staff, fostering a positive and motivated team environment.
• Ensure staff adherence to health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in cleaning practices.

Requirements:

• Proven supervisory experience in a cleaning, facilities management, or similar role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for managing teams and liaising with stakeholders.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on team needs and operational requirements.
• A high standard of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
