Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
This role is essential in ensuring the best experience for patients. As a Catering Assistant, you’ll be responsible for tasks like:
- Preparing and serving thoughtfully crafted meals that meet each patient’s dietary needs.
- Delivering meals to wards with a friendly attitude and ensuring patient satisfaction.
- Keeping the kitchen sparkling clean and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for everyone.
- Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation and efficient stock management.
- Supporting recycling and waste management practices to uphold healthcare regulations.

What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for someone who is passionate about food service and thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere. To excel in this role, you’ll bring:
- 6 months to 1 year of catering experience, preferably in a healthcare or high-volume environment.
- A legal right to work in Ireland, along with Garda Vetting clearance.
- Five years of work references to demonstrate trustworthiness and reliability.
- A commitment to exceptional hygiene and infection control standards.
- Flexibility to work some weekends and Bank Holidays as required.
- A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
