Job Title: Catering Assistant
Location: South County Dublin, Co. Dublin
Salary: €13.50 per hour

Join our dynamic team as a Catering Assistant and play an essential role in food service operations within healthcare facilities in South County Dublin. You’ll help enhance patient care by delivering high-quality food services directly on the wards. Enjoy competitive pay, including double pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays. We are seeking full-time flexible individuals for this role, as working hours vary based on client needs from Monday to Friday with some weekend availability. Shift patterns are between 7am and 6pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and beverages, ensuring all dietary requirements and restrictions are meticulously met.
• Maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene by cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Adhere strictly to HACCP guidelines and procedures.
• Implement correct storage, labeling, and rotation of food to prevent spoilage and maintain quality.
• Follow established procedures for waste and recycling management.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service and timely meal delivery.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing queries and requests professionally.

Requirements:

• Preferably 6 months to 1 year of experience in a catering or high-volume kitchen environment.
• Legal right to work in Ireland and successful completion of Garda Vetting.
• Strong English communication skills for effective interaction.
• Ability to provide professional references covering the last five years of employment.
• A team-oriented mindset with high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
