Position: Clerical Officer
Hours: Part-Time (3 days per week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Location: Athlone
Salary: €16.89

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Clerical Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. Working three days a week, you will play a key role in providing administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth operations within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in a clerical or administrative role, demonstrating excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Maintain accurate records and update databases with relevant information.
  • Answer telephone calls, respond to emails, and manage correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Provide support for meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and minute-taking as required.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure the work environment is well-organized.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements and Skills

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in a clerical or administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to teamwork.
